Friday Flash

Being sick = bored at home = lots of time for blogging/futzing. Anyway, the youtube thing is going pretty well so I thought I'd make Flashback Friday a video too. It's from a few years ago, I think summer after senior year, and it's pretty funny.



Today I saw the movie Juno with Allen. It was really very good. And I got to see lots of friends. Which was also really very nice. ok enjoy.

Home has been really nice. I've been pretty jetlagged and also came down with a cold so I've been pretty insular. Lots of buddies still to see! Today I was productive though and got my visa for France and a haircut. The exciting life I lead, I know. This Saturday-Tuesday I'm going up north with the fam to see more of the fam. What are your New Years plans?

i put up three last SA albums from the last few weeks of the trip.

highlights:
train party, kaiser chiefs game!, goodbye dinner and after party, general team padkos goodbyes, soweto tour in johannesburg, christmas braai in johannesburg with the family featuring a lamb on the spit and many santa hats.

as always: lexia gang + copious alcohol +making sincere efforts to dance as well as our friends and failing miserably = basic formula for almost all of our social outings.
highlights of this particular occassion include: at some point going outside to do gymnastics in the lawn, throwing many cheesepuffs from the balcony with little success at catching them, somehow getting persuaded to edit someone's appeal letter to the UWC law school (while intoxicated), and passing out with ari on a very small bed.
