My Colloquium is in Six Days.

I'm currently interning at a publishing house. We forward fan mail to our authors. Today I forwarded a box filled with individually wrapped Christmas presents (from the same person) to a public figure whom you may be familiar with. He is a doctor and his name rhymes with "Bill."

Contents of package:

- (1) XXXL brown vintage pepsi-cola t-shirt

- (1) white coffee mug with labrador retriever picture printed on side

- (1) package coffee beans

- (1) almond biscotti

- (2) pairs JERZEEZ work crew socks

- (1) bundle of negatives

- (1) pair black Budweiser slippers

- (2) McDonald's happy meal toy cars, still in packaging.

Friday Flash

Being sick = bored at home = lots of time for blogging/futzing. Anyway, the youtube thing is going pretty well so I thought I'd make Flashback Friday a video too. It's from a few years ago, I think summer after senior year, and it's pretty funny.



Today I saw the movie Juno with Allen. It was really very good. And I got to see lots of friends. Which was also really very nice. ok enjoy.

Flashback Friday

Have you met Thandi? She's about 6 years older and 5 times bigger now.

Sixth grade. Our group made dolmades for Greek day, which were very unpopular at the time, especially compared to the baklava. Eh, more for us. If you hadn't noticed already--I am an entire head shorter than my friends. Real cute, I know.


This is the backroom at my internship. The picture isn't exactly a flashback, but looking at the titles and covers of some of our books (or maybe just our clunky, internet-less computer), you'd probably think you were in the past. Or at least a Lifetime movie. I really do love it there.

I recently stole a bunch of music from Jon, as I normally do. I reeally like this album, Be He Me by Annuals. You should pick it up if you can. Or, you know, find someone to steal it from.
