exceptions to the rule

Most of you know how anxious wayward balloons make me (along with kites and umbrellas on a windy day). Holding a balloon will pretty much put me in a panicked state of hyperventilated breathing and white knuckles from gripping the string so tightly. Still, I really love this unofficial Grizzly Bear video for their song "Two Weeks," which uses clips from The Red Balloon. Perhaps it's because the balloons float with purpose, often hovering patiently near to the ground instead of tugging at clenched fists, trying to escape into the weightless distance. via S F-J
